Your new role
As Head of Finance, you will report to the General Manager and will have responsibility for the following;
1. Management Information - delivery of analysis and packs to support achievement ofpany goals
2. Profit and Loss - review and sign off of weekly and monthly P&L
3. Financial and operational analysis – delivery of in-depth analysis, including but not limited to: labour analysis, waste, yield, margins, variances, overhead spend, currency analysis
4. Balance sheet and cash flow – preparation of management reports as well as analysis including working capital, projected cash flow, projected balance sheet
5. Project to support the wider management team as required
6. Capital Expenditure – assisting in preparation of business cases, approval requests
7. Budget and forecast – financial owner of annual budget preparation, and monthly forecast.
8. Audit - supporting external audits and internal group accounting and control needs as required.
9. Working with Group finance to ensure all key controls are documented, implemented, and fully adhered to alongside reporting
10. Supporting Continuous improvement in management/financial reporting and analysis
What you'll need to succeed
11. Food manufacturing or FMCG planning background
12. Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3+ years post-qualification experience
13. Excellent excel skills/knowledge and previous experience with SAGE 200
14. The ability to build and maintain internal departmental relationships, whilst challenging data and searching for cross departmental opportunities.
15. Ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities.
16. Ability to work in a growing fast-paced environment.
