Job title: Global Head of Digital Sales

Reports to: Global Commercial Product Certification (PC) Director

Location: Global role, homebased.

Travel: The role will involve some national & international travel.

The Purpose of the Role:

BSI exists to have a positive impact on society, our work helps our client access markets, comply, innovate & differentiate through certification. Digital Trust Product Certification is a crucial aspect in today’s digital landscape for different business industry sectors.

It serves as a testament to an organization’s commitment to maintaining integrity, security, and transparency in their digital product development and operations. It also instils confidence among users and stakeholders and helps organizations stand out in various vertical markets. Moreover, it’s a key activity for demonstrating compliance with global digital trust existing and upcoming regulations and directives.

The purpose of this position is leading and overseeing the Global Digital Trust Product Certification (DTPC) portfolio of services meeting specific needs and requirements to a diverse range of clients and sectors, from manufacturers to government organisations, on a global scale.

The successful individual will be driving commerciality within the DTPC strategy and creating/supporting ongoing related go-to-market plans, whilst also supporting and developing an effective roadmap for new solutions across all relevant sectors, ultimately thought leadership in the digital testing and certification ecosystem whilst making us the commercial partner of choice for organisations needing these digital products and services.

The role will support the different regional commercial directors by delivering new sales revenues, trading tactics and plans that create purposeful value propositions that set us apart from our competitors, and will have accountability and leadership for a group of sales direct reports across the globe.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

1. Pro-active leadership of the global DTPC portfolio to ensure achievement of sales targets and delivery of business objectives.
2. To review, define and lead the sales team to meet targets and objectives in:connectable productscybersecurity testing and certification servicesDigital Identity, Electronic Identification and Trust Servicessoftware cybersecurity testing and certification servicesDigital Built environmentAI Cybersecurity, and more.
3. To identify new market opportunities and develop specific go to market plans and strategies.
4. To provide dedicated hands-on training related to Digital Trust products.

The Successful Applicant will have:

5. A proven track record of management of field sales teams
6. Excellent commercial awareness and a “can do” attitude
7. Expertise in Digital Ttust Product Certification sales, products, regulations and directives.
8. Knowledge of business processes and the application of QMS
9. Regulatory or professional services experience
10. An effective, sales driven leadership style
