Centre Manager
Hale Community and Youth Centre
Salary: £38,000–£42,000 FTE
Hours: 5 days per week, with flexibility regarding which days and some home working (37 hours)
Location: Farnham, Surrey
We are now recruiting a Centre Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day running of the Centre and help shape its future. This is a varied, hands‑on leadership role with real purpose and plenty of opportunity to make a difference.
Responsibilities
* Support and lead our staff, contractors and volunteers
* Ensure the Centre runs safely and smoothly
* Build strong relationships with partners, families and the wider community
* Lead fundraising, income generation and marketing
* Support the delivery of high-quality projects and youth provision
* Promote the Centre’s visibility and impact
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, compassionate and community‑minded – someone who enjoys working with people and is motivated by helping others thrive.
The role includes operational oversight, staff and volunteer management, safeguarding and compliance, partnership development, income generation, and promoting the Centre’s profile and impact – including the continued development of our Youth Centre as a key part of our offer.
