Mechanical Design Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a forward-thinking manufacturing business specialising in bespoke solutions for the packaging and production sector.
This is a hands‑on role where you will be involved in the complete design process from concept through to production creating innovative, efficient, and cost‑effective mechanical designs that deliver real results.
Responsibilities
* Design and develop mechanical components and systems using 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
* Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications
* Collaborate with production and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery
* Identify and resolve design challenges with practical solutions
* Manage design projects independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
* Proficiency in CAD design (preferably Autodesk Inventor)
