Overview
We are currently recruiting for reliable, compassionate, and experienced Support Workers to join our growing team, providing person-centered care and support to adults living with mental health conditions and challenging behaviours. These roles are based within supported living environments in the Crewe area (CW7 & CW10). As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, and choice for the people we support, ensuring they live fulfilling and meaningful lives in a safe, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
* Supporting adults with mental health needs and complex behaviours in their daily routines
* Promoting independence and personal development
* Managing and de-escalating challenging situations calmly and professionally
* Administering medication safely in line with care plans and company procedures
* Maintaining clear, accurate records and reports
* Supporting individuals with personal care when required
* Encouraging engagement in social, leisure, and community-based activities
* Working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and other agencies
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience working with adults with mental health conditions and challenging behaviour
* Current, valid, and in-date CPI training certificate (essential for this role)
* Experience in medication administration within a care setting
* A minimum of 6 months experience working within a supported living environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage complex behaviours professionally
* A caring, patient, and proactive attitude
