Production Supervisor- Nights
Working hours:Monday to Friday
Salary:£35,000 - £40,000 per annum shift premium
Location:Reading, UK
We're hiring a proactive and hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee production line operations at our facility in Reading. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and is passionate about leading people, improving processes, and delivering high-quality results, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor
* Supervise manufacturing operations during the night shift.
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of production staff to meet daily and long-term goals
* Monitor daily activities on the production line to meet output and quality goals.
* Promote and ensure health, safety, and cleanliness on the shop floor.
* Identify and resolve issues quickly to maintain smooth production flow.
* Support training and performance feedback for line team members.
* Maintain accurate production records and support continuous improvement efforts.
* Ensure proper shift handovers and line readiness.
What You'll Need for the Production Supervisor Role
* At least 2 years of manufacturing experience
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Experience working with leading a team
* Ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
