What you’ll do
We are seeking a proactive, technically astute Public Sector Sales Specialist with expertise in Networking, SD‑WAN, and Unified Communications (UC). This role is pivotal in helping public sector customers modernise their infrastructure, strengthen security, and enhance collaboration.
* Develop and execute plans to hit and exceed annual order value targets.
* Own complex and/or large‑scale opportunities with sales from qualify through to close.
* Own the sales process from a solution and value proposition perspective.
* Build key internal stakeholder relationships and engage their support in delivering sales objectives.
* Forecast and report on sales performance accurately and on time.
* Upskill account teams on product portfolio to identify opportunities.
* Work with Product and Propositions managers to influence future product development.
* Stay up to date with industry and product trends to be an expert.
Who you are
* Demonstrable experience in public sector technology sales, ideally with networking, SD‑WAN or UC solutions.
* Understanding of public‑sector environments including governance, security, data sovereignty and budgetary cycles.
* Ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, outcome‑focused language.
* Strong commercial mindset with a track record of winning strategic deals.
* Comfortable working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams while independently owning key actions.
* Energetic, curious and committed to being a trusted partner.
* Deep understanding of a specialist product area (SD‑WAN, digital transformation, UC or contact centre).
* Continuous desire to learn, develop and achieve within a fast‑growing specialist team.
