We are looking for enthusiastic, professional, committed Care Assistants to join a Nottingham care home set in stunning surroundings, who live in the NG11 area, who are looking for weekend work.
This role is supporting residents suffering with dementia and other age-related illnesses with their day-to-day routines at the weekend.
As a Care Assistant, you will work to empower residents to remain as independent as possible in their daily life, providing support for their emotional and physical needs and being their daily companion.
You will ensure every resident’s physical and psychological wellbeing is at the centre of your priorities.
Additional responsibilities could include: -
• domestic tasks.
• adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• taking responsibility for promoting the welfare of the individuals
• Helping with the residents’ daily routines
• Personal Care
• Assisting with bathing, feeding, dressing.
• Supporting residents’ wellbeing and emotional needs

• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.

Your typical hours will start at 07.00. and finish at 14.00, Saturday and Sundays.
You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.35 per hour, plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay
