Data Analyst
Reporting to the Data & Reporting Team Manager, the role will be working within a team to support the objectives of the NLC and report on results, identifying trends and suggestive business improvements will be a key part of the role. This position will provide reporting capability to the business and help design, create, distribute and manage key metrics.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing Databases to include linking of Datasets utilising Microsoft Excel Power Query, SQL Databases, DAX measures and the ability to use Data Factory Resources
* Manage and interpret large quantities of data
* Plan and implement tasks and manage small projects effectively, alongside a professional, outcome focused approach
* Build Power BI reports and presentations, providing insight to stakeholders
* Work closely with others as part of a team and to work without direct supervision on a day-to-day basis
* Utilise Microsoft Office programmes with emphasis on Power BI (to create queries, tables and reports)
* Undertake your duties in a professional and punctual manner, reflecting and championing Calex, and VWG’s values and expectations at all times
* Adhere to and follow all policies and procedures
* Undertake ad-hoc reporting and administration, as well as attending meetings (onsite and offsite) as deemed necessary by Calex and VWG
* Carry out any other reasonable duties as defined by line management
About You
* Proven experience of working with Power BI, DAX and SQL is essential
* SharePoint knowledge is preferred

Salary & Benefits

Working Hours
Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week
Place of Work
Volkswagen Group UK National Learning Centre, Wymbush, Milton Keynes. We currently operate hybrid working with at least 60% of time in the National Learning Centre with the opportunity to work up to 40% remotely. Time spent in the office may change. There will also be times when it may be necessary to work from alternative locations, e.g. VWG facilities and retailers, and other sites as necessary to perform the role.
Pre-employment Checks
Calex will undertake the relevant/standard employment checks with any successful candidate. This includes contacting all nominated referees, as well as checking candidate ID, driving licence (if appropriate) and right to work in the UK. Some roles may also be subject to further pre-employment checks (confirmation will be provided through the recruitment process). The nature of this role may necessitate that we undertake a DBS check.
