We are looking for an ambitious and highly-motivated Account Executive that will help us transform the restaurant industry, one restaurant at a time. We will be counting on you to find new business opportunities, build valuable relationships and sign up restauranters in a blinq of an eye ;)
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a true startup, taking a big role in a small team and become the figure head for blinq in Scotland. Being a founding member, you will drive our transformation from a startup into a successful company.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in sales and customer service. We expect you to be a reliable professional, able to balance customer orientation and a results-driven approach. Key attributes of the position would include an extrovert and outgoing personality with who is excellent when talking to clients face-to-face, cold-calling, or discussing on the phone.
Your overarching goal is to identify opportunities with prospects and new clients and build them into long-term profitable relationships.
Your responsibilities will include (without limitation):
* Sell B2B and achieve target KPIs
* Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
* Manage your time and build your own pipeline
* Discover new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships
* Demonstrate products to prospective clients either in person or online
* Assist in setting up to new venues
* Provide professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty
* Remain in regular contact with your clients to understand and meet their needs and maintain our company’s reputation
* Be the voice of the restauranter and share valuable feedback with our team
* Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get involved in many other aspects of the business.
Job Requirements
* Background in POS / delivery / wholesale / hospitality industry with great connections (2+ years is a must)
* Knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus
* Proven experience as an Account Executive, or similar sales role
* Proven track record working with KPIs in a sales setting
* Experience canvassing, door-to-door sales and cold-calling into various types of local businesses, with evidence of success preferred
* Up to date on the latest restaurant industry trends
* Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
* Organizational and time-management skills
* Comfortable working independently and managing your own diary
* Enthusiastic, confident, passionate and highly motivated individual
* Tech savvy
* Team player
* Proficiency in English
* Knowledge of a second language is a plus
