Torfaen Children and Family Services has recently restructured, creating two exciting opportunities for qualified Social Workers to join our newly formed Long Term Planning & Reunification Team.
About the Team
We support children aged 0–15 who are subject to Care or Supervision Orders (Section 31 Children Act Our mission is to provide security, belonging, and a positive future, whether through rehabilitation with birth families, Special Guardianship Orders (SGOs), adoption, or long-term foster care.
We work in a strengths-based, outcome-focused way to ensure every child has a clear care plan towards permanence.
Team Structure:
* 1 Team Manager
* 2 Assistant Team Managers
* 10 Social Workers
* 5 Family Intervention Workers
