Responsibilities
* Lead in the operational and clinical management of the Service, providing day to day management, leadership and line management to staff.
* Lead, support and aid the coordination of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care in the community for adults of working age with severe/highly complex mental health conditions.
* Demonstrate enhanced competence in complex decision making, assessment and the management of clinical needs.
* Collect and collate data / information effectively for the purpose of audit, research and service performance.
* The post holders will be working within a multi-disciplinary team covering either the North Locality - Cheltenham/Tewkesbury/North Cotswolds, the West Locality - Gloucester/Forest of Dean or the South Locality - Stroud & Berkeley Vale/Cirencester & South Cotswolds.
* The team manager will be responsible for ensuring high quality and effective delivery of intensive and assertive mental health care.
* To regularly report to locality Operational lead on the performance of the locality service.
* A key aspect of the role is ensuring proactive engagement with service users, often through flexible outreach in community settings, to reduce hospital admissions, improve stability, and enhance quality of life.
