Responsibilities
1. Assess patient care needs independently and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans, ensuring high standards of evidence-based care.
2. Recognize changes in patient conditions and respond appropriately in line with Trust policies.
Professional Responsibilities
* Maintain professional behaviour at all times, promoting and representing the organisation positively.
* Comply with Trust policies and practice within NMC Standards and guidelines.
Management and Leadership Responsibilities
* Supervise unqualified staff, ensuring they have the knowledge, skills, and resources needed.
* Participate in student training and assist with induction and orientation programs.
* Share knowledge with colleagues.
Service Management
* Be aware of issues related to Clinical Governance, Quality assurance, and Clinical Effectiveness, and perform duties accordingly.
* Assist with initiating and evaluating projects or research relevant to ward services.
General Responsibilities
* Undertake responsibilities tailored to your skills and interests and the ward's needs.
* Develop high standards of nursing care aligned with ward philosophy and Trust values.
Salary: Band 5 £31,049 - £37,796 per annum, pro rata
Hours: 30 per week, with potential for full-time hours in the future. All roles are considered for flexible working.
