About us
The Railway Land Wildlife Trust is a small, agile charity bringing nature and community together – to benefit both. Based on a local nature reserve in the heart of Lewes, we run imaginative and inspirational projects in conservation, education and community engagement.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Finance, Facilities and Office Manager to join our team. This varied role will be key to keeping the organisation running smoothly as we continue to grow and develop our work.
What you’ll do
* Lead on financial management and reporting, working with our bookkeeper and CEO
* Manage venue hire and oversee maintenance and facilities at the Linklater Pavilion
* Support the team with office systems, compliance and day‑to‑day operations
What we’re looking for
* Experience in financial management for an organisation of similar size or complexity
* Knowledge of charity finance processes and reporting
* Confidence in using accounting software (e.g. Sage)
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A proactive, flexible approach and willingness to work as part of a small team
