Hours: 33 hours week 1, 44 hours week 2
Salary: Team leader rate per hour £13.21 over time per hour £15.21 Any other role within the team Rate per hour £12.21 over time £14.21

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Team Leader to support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home and to lead the care team on shift.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Home Manager, the Team Leader will:
* Lead and coordinate the care team to deliver outstanding residential care
* Ensure residents' physical, emotional and social needs are met
* Promote dignity, respect and independence at all times
* Oversee and support the completion and review of care plans and risk assessments
* Administer medication safely and in line with policy
* Monitor residents' wellbeing and respond appropriately to changes
* Communicate effectively with families, visiting professionals and external agencies
* Support new staff, mentor team members and promote good practice
* Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
* Act as a role model, demonstrating professionalism and positive leadership
You will also be responsible for maintaining a calm, organised and supportive environment during your shift, escalating concerns to the Manager where appropriate.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Has previous experience in a Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader role within a residential setting ( essential applicants without experience will not be considered)
* Holds a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
* Has experience supporting residents, including those living with dementia
* Has strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
* Is confident in decision-making and managing a shift
* Has a sound understanding of safeguarding, CQC standards and person-centred care
* Is passionate about delivering high standards of care
