An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Paediatric ward at Dr Grays Hospital for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 registered nurse with a strong clinical background and an interest in educating the workforce to join our dynamic forward thinking team.
The Paediatric ward is an 8 bedded ward seeing a variety of specialties including Medical, Surgical and Day case patients with the potential for acutely ill children to be transferred to specialised units, offering fantastic learning and development opportunities. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
Elgin, and the surrounding Moray County is a popular area to live in, with good transport links to Aberdeen and Inverness.
This post involves shift work Sunday to Monday 365 days a year.

Responsibilities
* Provide high quality nursing care to paediatric inpatients and day case patients in an 8 bedded ward with Medical, Surgical and Day case specialties.
* Contribute to the education and development of the ward team and broader workforce.
* Work as part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
* Engage in shift-based duties across a 7-day rota as required.
Qualifications
* Band 5 registered nurse with a strong clinical background.
* Interest in educating the workforce and contributing to professional development.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
