We are supporting a leading UK organisation that delivers technology-enabled business process and operational services across multiple sectors. They specialise in simplifying complex interactions, modernising legacy operations and delivering large-scale transformation for clients with significant regulatory, data and compliance needs.


Role Summary

You will be configuring and implementing pension administration systems by translating client requirements into accurate system setup and robust automated calculations. You’ll support change and transition projects, ensuring configuration quality, troubleshooting issues and helping clients and colleagues understand new processes. The position plays an important role in delivering reliable pension administration solutions.


Core Duties/Responsibilities


* Gathering and interpreting client requirements and translating them into system solutions.
* Managing system configuration activities and ensuring quality standards are met.
* Delivering calculation automation to support accurate scheme processing.
* Identifying and mitigating risks and issues throughout project delivery.
* Leading client implementation projects and supporting project governance.
* Facilitating internal and external system training and producing relevant documentation.
* Troubleshooting and resolving client queries and technical issues.
* Supporting Project Managers and fellow Implementation Consultants with project tasks.
* Mentoring and coaching Implementation Analysts.
* Promoting best practice and continuous improvement across the team.
* Ensuring internal procedures are followed and documentation is produced for project and quality gates.
* Meeting clients to understand scheme data, processes and systems and recommending implementation approaches.
* Undertaking system demonstrations where required.
* Identifying, collating and documenting scheme/product information.
* Reviewing business processes and defining new operating procedures where needed.
* Conducting configuration and testing quality-control activities.
* Supporting technology development through analysis, design input and specification creation.
* Completing system configuration, checking and data-analysis activities.
* Performing project management tasks, including identifying and mitigating risks and issues.


Skills, Capabilities and Attributes


* Strong pensions and/or employee benefits administration knowledge, including scheme types, member statuses, calculations and regulatory bodies.
* Advanced MS Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, macros and data validation.
* Experience handling sensitive client data in compliance with GDPR and data-management standards.
* Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise competing workloads.
* Experience of client communication and managing stakeholder expectations.
* Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to build effective working relationships.
* Experience with project environments and the full project lifecycle, including RAID management.
* Effective use of MS Project for planning, dependencies, resource allocation and progress tracking.
* Familiarity with system setup, parameters and pension administration systems.
* Understanding of system testing and user acceptance testing principles.
* Ability to analyse system debugs, carry out root-cause analysis and document defects clearly.
* Quality-management experience, including checklists, gates and audit participation.
* Business-change or operational-improvement experience supporting continuous improvement activity.
* Skills in meeting facilitation, presentations and producing clear technical documentation.
* Experience working with online/web requirement documents and translating impacts into calculation specifications.
* People-management capabilities, including mentoring, feedback and skill development.


Core Hours - 37.5 per week, Monday–Friday

Location - Remote

Day Rate - Competitive D.O.E via umbrella

Duration - 6 months with possibility to extend
