Job Description
As a Senior Content Designer, you'll play a crucial role in our digital transformation, ensuring our online services are digital by default. This involves making our services simpler, clearer, and faster to use, enhancing user experience. You'll work within an agile team, contributing to a digitally-enabled service that's easier to access, use, and cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and evaluate best processes or delivery methods in an Agile environment, helping the team manage outcomes and scope.
2. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, building relationships and influencing expectations.
3. Collaborate within communities, network actively, and use feedback to improve team dynamics.
4. Apply digital understanding to identify and implement solutions for assisted digital.
5. Design systems considering multiple services, choosing straightforward approaches.

7. Provide leadership, make decisions of medium risk/complexity, and build team consensus.
8. Create and validate prototypes, sharing best practices and coaching others.

Essential
* Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
* Proactive/reactive communication skills, ability to handle complex environments.
* Expertise in interaction design, user-centred design, accessibility standards, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, wireframing, and data visualisation.
* Proven ability to support and develop others, transfer skills quickly, and understand user research.
Desirable
* Knowledge of NHS standards, design systems, healthcare context, development platforms, and management practices.
Experience
Essential
* Experience supporting product teams with user-centered design and stakeholder engagement.
* Designing user interfaces, creating prototypes, strategic thinking, and simplifying complex data.
