Role Description

This is a full-time Commercial Account Handler role based in Mansfield, offered on a hybrid basis, combining office work with some flexibility to work from home. The Commercial Account Handler will manage a portfolio of commercial clients, handling day-to-day enquiries, mid-term adjustments, and policy documentation. Key responsibilities include preparing and processing renewals, obtaining and comparing quotations, and ensuring accurate records are maintained in line with regulatory and internal standards. The role involves providing responsive customer service, resolving queries efficiently, and supporting clients with policy changes and claims-related assistance. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with colleagues and insurers to deliver a professional, compliant, and client-focused service.


Qualifications

* Commercial insurance knowledge, including experience with insurance and insurance brokerage within a broking or similar environment.
* Proven experience in renewals, including preparation, negotiation, and processing of commercial policy renewals.
* Customer-focused approach with excellent customer service skills, including clear communication and prompt issue resolution.
* Demonstrated account management abilities, managing a client portfolio, prioritising workloads, and maintaining accurate records.
* Competence with office software and broking/CRM systems, with strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting, managing time and tasks effectively.
* Previous experience in commercial lines insurance is highly desirable; relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CII progress) are an advantage.
* Right to work in the UK and willingness to commute to Mansfield as required for the hybrid working pattern.
