Part time - 32 hours per week (Monday - Thursday 6.5 hours a day, Friday 6 hours)

We are looking to recruit a Residences caretaker to work at our Waterside Campus.
The Residences Caretaker will provide day to day support with the preparation of halls of residences buildings/facilities in line with staff and student requirements to meet the Service Level Agreement.
We are an accredited Living Wage Foundation Employer and currently pay the real living wage, which is currently £24,309 per annum. In recognition of this, the starting salary for this post has been increased to pay this higher amount which currently supersedes the actual Grade 3 salary before living wage.
About you
The Ideal Candidate will;
* Have a full UK driving licence
* Work accurately and safely
* Have experience in cleaning, caretaking and porterage tasks
* Have experience of working in occupied buildings understanding the need not to cause disruption
* Be smart phone/tablet literate
* Have good interpersonal skills
* Work with minimal supervision and on own initiative, either in a team or alone
* Be adaptable, conscientious and to be a good team member
* Be able to work under pressure and managing conflicting demands
* Understand COSHH (Control Substances Hazardous to Health and safety regulations), Health and safety and manual handling

* Able to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills to a standard appropriate to post
