THE UNIVERSITY OF LIVERPOOL FACULTY OF HEALTH AND LIFE SCIENCES INSTITUTE OF SYSTEMS, MOLECULAR AND INTEGRATIVE BIOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY AND THERAPEUTICS RESEARCH TECHNICIAN (2 POSTS) – GRADE 4 £25,804 - £28,778 per annum The ‘Antibiotics for Global Health’ research group has a longstanding track record of research excellence in the discovery, development and deployment of antibiotics to improve global health. The Wellcome Trust, Medical Research Council and Global Antibiotic Research and Development Partnership (GARDP) have recently made significant investments in our programmes including new approaches to optimise antifungal combinations to research programmes to address the global threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). We are looking for two Grade 4 Research Associates who will join an established group of researchers focussed on the mechanisms of antimicrobial drug resistance in bacteria and fungi. You will help map the pathways to development of AMR and design mitigating strategies. These posts are offered on a fixed term basis until November 2027.
