A fast-scaling FinTech is looking for a Finance Director to lead its finance function and shape strategic decision-making through data-driven insights, robust controls, and forward-thinking financial leadership.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a technically strong and commercially sharp accountant with experience in reporting, compliance, and international operations in a fast-paced environment.
Your new role
1. Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
2. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow planning
3. Manage payroll, AP/AR, and HMRC relationships
4. Oversee group accounting, consolidations, and intercompany reconciliations
5. Ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS, VAT, and corporation tax
6. Lead external audits and drive internal process improvements
7. Provide technical accounting guidance across the business, including SaaS revenue recognition and equity schemes
What you'll need to succeed
8. Chartered Accountant (ACA / ICAEW / ICAS / CAANZ)
9. 8+ years post-qualified experience, must be from a FinTech or Tech-enabled business
10. Strong IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge
11. Proven ability to lead finance operations and influence senior stakeholders
