Job Description
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time HR Business Partner at a good College in Hull, starting as soon as possible and lasting until December 2026 in the first instance.. The College are in need of a candidate on a fixed term contract directly with themselves. The salary will be £37,016, scaled to a daily rate. Working hours will be between 8:30AM and 4:30PM, 5 days per week. The role is mainly onsite, but there are options for some work from home days depending on circumstances. This role is to start ASAP, but starting in the new year would also work well for the college.
This role will involve being responsible for the strategic leadership and operational delivery of people related services at the college. You will be providing strategic HR guidance, advice and support. Managing complex employee relation cases and ensuring risk mitigation and legal compliance will all be strong parts of the role. You will also take charge in the appointment of temporary agency staff, ensuring that appropriate authorisation has been received. This is a multi faceted role which provides much room to grow.
You will be responsible for assisting with operational HR services such as recruitment and onboarding, as well as maintaining effective frameworks for managing cases such as absence and disciplinary.
Located in Hull, the college is easily accessible from almost all parts of Hull via Bus, and has an onsite car park for candidates who drive. There is also a large car park nearby that is low cost and can be reimbursed in wages.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
* Chartered member or Fellow of CIPD (Level 7) - ideal but not necessary
* Significant senior HR experience (FE sector ideal)
* Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* CV must cover the full CV History
* Legal right to work in the UK
