Responsibilities
* Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments.
* Safely restrain and handle dogs and cats during procedures.
* Obtain and document patient histories and vital signs (TPR, weight, etc.).
* Prepare patients for surgery and assist in anesthesia monitoring and recovery.
* Perform blood draws and support laboratory diagnostics.
* Maintain treatment areas, equipment, and a clean clinical environment.
* Educate clients on medications, post‑care, and preventive services.
* Support inventory, pharmacy, and general hospital functions.
Qualifications
* Previous veterinary assistant or veterinary technician experience required.
* Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) preferred.
* Strong animal handling and restraint skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced veterinary clinic setting.
* Excellent communication and client service skills.
* Team‑oriented, reliable, and detail‑focused.
