Do you want to power up your career and play a leading role in one of the most exciting transformations happening in the UK energy sector?
The industry is evolving fast-with major investment, cutting-edge smart technologies, and an increasing demand for low carbon solutions. At Northern Powergrid, we’re not just keeping up with that change, we’re shaping it. As the electricity distributor for 3.9 million homes and businesses across the Northeast, Yorkshire and northern Lincolnshire, we’re building a smarter, greener and more resilient network for the future. As we continue transforming our network to support the region’s net zero ambitions, we’re looking for a Commercial Connections Engineer to join our DSO team.
This is a highly impactful, customer facing role where no two days are the same. You’ll be working with major industrial customers, developers and energy innovators, helping them connect everything from large manufacturing sites to power stations to our extra high voltage network. You’ll shape bespoke commercial solutions, influence major investment decisions, and play a key role in enabling our region’s shift to low carbon technologies.
If you’re motivated by commercial and engineering challenges and enjoy building strong senior level relationships, this role lets you make a real impact on our customers and the future of energy.
