Job Summary
Clinical Coding Service Improvement Lead – Permanent position within the Clinical Coding Service at Swansea Bay University Health Board.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills.
* Operationally lead and improve the Clinical Coding Service.
* Champion digital technology and promote digital solutions to support current and future developments.
* Encourage forward‑thinking, innovative, and creative approaches to service improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
* ACC Accredited Clinical Coder qualification (UK).
* Strong clinical coding expertise.
* Management experience with excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to drive service improvement initiatives and lead cross‑functional teams.
* Desirable: proficiency in Welsh (both spoken and written).
