Roys has been a family run business since 1895, with stores are located across Norfolk & Suffolk, surrounded by East Anglia's scenic countryside in the Heart of the Norfolk Broads.
Based in Wroxham, we are looking for an experienced Buyer with a retail background, to create commercial ranges to meet the market needs we serve.
As a Buyer, you will be responsible for a budget, selecting and purchasing products that will be sold both in store and online.
You will analyse market trends and identify customer preferences, using sales data to make informed decisions, so being proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and Word are essential to this role.
The role involves negotiating with suppliers to secure terms and prices, managing inventory levels and ensuring product availability and as such your excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills, will be key.
You will also be a team player that can support colleagues and collaborate with the marketing team.
This is role is permanent, 39 per week, working Monday to Friday but some weekend work will be required to attend trade shows. As such, although not essential, having a full driving licence would be very advantageous.
