SS&C Technologies seek an Assistant Financial Accountant. This role will report to the Head of Accounting and undertake general ledger accounting and analysis activities across multiple legal entities. This role is a fixed term contract covering maternity leave.

Your Responsibilities
* Month end accruals & prepayments
* Assist with fixed assets accounting, including additions and disposals
* Analysing large volumes of transactions for variance and trend reporting
* Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet and control accounts, and resolution of outstanding variances
* Uploading balance sheet account reconciliations into the Cadency SOX tool in accordance with monthly deadlines
* Liaise with colleagues to address miscoding’s or other issues identified, to improve underlying processing
* Assisting with PWC audit queries
* To communicate and promote the values which reinforce and support a consistent quality culture.
Your Experience
* Experience and confidence using Excel including pivot tables
* Strong general accounting knowledge - double entry, accruals, fixed assets
* Experience of analysing large volumes of data
* Experience of balance sheet account reconciliation, and control
* Previous experience of using Workday GL is preferable
* AAT, ACCA, CIMA or Degree qualifications desirable but not essential for this position.
