Overview
Project Support Officer (Band 5) for the West Midlands-wide Community Forensic LDA Service. This non-recurrent, two-year project is funded via the Reach Out Collaborative and is a partnership between Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) and Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT). The role is available as a fixed-term contract or 20-month secondment for internal applicants. The Project Support Officer will support mobilisation and delivery of the service, providing high-quality programme and project management support to the Project Manager and Project Lead.
Responsibilities
* Provide programme and project management support to the Project Manager and Project Lead.
* Provide programme/project support on key work streams, including progress monitoring, chasing, and preparation of programme/project documents.
* Undertake data analysis and produce reports, programme/project plans, and stakeholder communications as required; conduct research and literature reviews and provide summary reports.
* Manage the coordination and delivery of data and information linked to routine reporting cycles for programme/project reports and updates to internal and external stakeholders.

Job responsibilities
* Assist in planning, management, coordination and delivery of projects within agreed timescales.
* Provide project support and coordination to Clinical leads and Project Manager on key locality and service improvement work streams.
* Promote and follow a consistent approach to project management across service delivery areas.
* Develop programme and project documentation including risk/issue management registers and escalation systems to mitigate impact on delivery.
* Update programme/project documents (templates, procedures, master registers, dashboards, Board Reports).
* Monitor programmes/projects and progress against key deliverables, maintaining tracking registers.
* Build strong working relationships with stakeholders inside and outside the organisation.
* Organise project meetings, workshops and events, including engagement and consultation forums.
* Share information with key stakeholders and provide regular update reports.
* Collate and produce regular performance monitoring reports and organise related meetings as required.
* Be flexible to re-prioritise work in response to changing demands; manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential)
* Degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent.
* Knowledge of project methodology through degree/diploma or relevant experience (e.g., Prince2 Foundation, LEAN, QI).
Experience (Essential)
* Experience developing project reports for diverse audiences.
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.

* Enthusiastic about project work; clear and effective communication (oral and written).
* Ability to work as part of a team and to take direction and leadership when required.
* Flexible approach; able to work independently and use own initiative.
Knowledge & Skills (Essential)
