Finished Products and Added Value Assistant

Role description
To take responsibility for finished products operations within the Cold End and Added Value departments.
Responsibilities:
1. Issue samples of faulty ware at the start of a new job and collect and store them at the end of the job to ensure they will be available next time the job is run.
2. Monitor the work of the Cold End Line Controllers throughout the job to ensure compliance with Quality Control procedures and Record Keeping.
3. Identify opportunities to improve finished products performance and ensure they are followed through.
4. Planning for future tasks to ensure that the finished products department achieves maximum performance.
5. Work with the job change team to ensure that line performance is fully optimised, and all checks are completed and logged as required to meet both quality and customer needs
6. Proactively drive improvement in areas requiring additional support without being instructed.
Required skills / qualifications:
7. Understanding of the full range of bottle faults and their origins
8. Good Communication and problem solving skills
9. Working Knowledge of both quality control and engineering
10. Familiar with inspection equipment
11. Be proactive, organised and have a commercial focus
