Join Future Freedom Care Ltd, a specialist residential care provider for children and young people with mental health, emotional and complex needs. We are seeking a Registered Manager to oversee our children’s home in Oldbury. You will ensure a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop.
The Role
You will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with all regulations. This is a key leadership role where you will guide and support your team to create a nurturing environment that meets the individual needs of each child.
Key Responsibilities

* Manage the day-to-day running of the home in line with Ofsted and regulatory standards
* Lead and develop a team of care staff to deliver outstanding care and support
* Build effective relationships with social workers, families, and other external partners
* Oversee care planning and ensure each child’s needs are met through personalised plans
* Maintain accurate records and ensure full compliance with safeguarding requirements
* Manage staffing levels, rotas, and budgets effectively

The Person
*
* Level 5 NVQ in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
* Proven experience in managing or leading within a children’s residential care setting
* Strong understanding of the Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards
* Confident leader with excellent communication and people management skills
* Able to respond calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with children with complex needs or challenging behaviour (desirable)
