Imperial Private Healthcare are responsible for providing evidence based care to our private patients, across three main sites at Imperial College Healthcare Trust.You will be part of an expert multidisciplinary team providing excellent clinical care to patients with complex surgical procedures, oncological cases and discharge requirements, and you’ll also provide acute medical interventions to patients with a wide range of conditions.This is the perfect department to develop your skills as part of a highly capable team where you are guaranteed opportunities to learn and develop. For both overviews please view the Job Description attachment with the job advert.Person specificationEducation/ QualificationsEssential criteria- Bachelor degrees in NursingDesirable criteria- Has attained relevant courses in managementExperienceEssential criteria- Registered Nurse for at least 3 years- Have at least 12 months experience as a nurse in charge or deputy nurse in charge- Experience of supervision of junior staff and review of performanceDesirable criteria- Extensive experience (At least 2 years) with surgical cases and oncology patients- Private patient experienceSkills/Knowledge/ AbilitiesEssential criteria- Good basic IT skills including use of word, e-mail and internet services- Managing sickness review- Datix investigations- Awareness of complaint process- Excellent level of English languageDesirable criteria- Demonstrate commitment through involvement in Trust wide initiatives/ committee- Managing surgical patients: neurosurgery, urology, general surgery, ENT.- Managing patients with tracheostomy.Right to workIf you need sponsorship to work in the UK, please visit the Home Office website for information on sponsorship and visa status before you fill in your application form.
