Key Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in leading a team that provides nutritionally balanced meals within budget.
* Prepare modified diets that look appealing, are well‑balanced and comply with IDDSI guidance.
* Supervise and direct culinary staff, providing instruction and demonstration to unqualified staff.
* Apply safe food handling principles to maintain the highest hygiene standards.
* Support all team members in understanding the Avery Food Safety Management system.
Qualifications
* Relevant catering qualification (City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/2, NVQ or equivalent).
* Minimum of 1 year of catering experience.
* Compassion and commitment to high‑quality culinary services for residents.
* Adaptability and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.
Package
Shift details: 5 days out of 7.

* ADBS Disclosure check (cost paid by Avery).
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
