We’re working with a bespoke consultancy looking to hire an experienced Senior / Lead Planner with a planning engineer background. This role suits someone who has worked with principal contractors and has strong NEC contract experience.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead planning on major UK infrastructure projects and support clients with programme development, change, and risk.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading planning activities on infrastructure projects under NEC4 contracts
* Creating and managing programmes using Primavera P6 (including cost-loaded plans)
* Managing programme change, delays, and impacts
* Producing clear reports and programme analysis
* Working closely with delivery teams and senior stakeholders
* Supporting risk and mitigation planning
* Improving planning processes and best practice
What we’re looking for:
* Strong background in infrastructure or civil engineering planning
* Experience working for or alongside principal contractors
* Solid NEC4 contract knowledge
* Advanced Primavera P6 experience
* Commercially aware and confident communicating at senior level
