Job Description
We're currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Defence on a full time basis contracted to hours per week. As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and serving the kind of food that truly brightens our clients' and customers' days, all within the market-leading food service company in the UK. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
2. Overseeing and implementing menu changes
3. Identifying opportunities to improve our food services
4. Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
5. Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
6. Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
7. Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
8. Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
9. Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations
Our ideal Chef De Partie will:
10. Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
11. Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
12. Have experience supervising a team
13. Have experience in a similar Chef role
14. Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
15. Have a flexible approach to working
