The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee and enhance quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring quality assurance processes, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves coordination with cross-functional teams, engaging with suppliers, and ensuring quality standards throughout project lifecycles and production. This is a full-time, on-site position based in South Wales.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO standards, and compliance requirements
* Experience in audits, process evaluation, and continuous improvement methodologies
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with effective communication and decision-making abilities
* Problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying system improvements and implementing solutions
* Proficiency in project management and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Quality Management, Engineering, or another technical discipline
* Experience in aerospace or defense sectors is highly advantageous
* Knowledge of U.K. regulatory requirements and industry best practices is preferred
