Role Overview:
As a Caretaker, you will play a vital role in maintaining our client's school premises. Your work will help create a safe and enjoyable learning environment for students and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Repairs: Ensuring the school premises, furniture, and equipment are in good condition. This includes minor repairs and general upkeep
Security: Opening and closing the school buildings, ensuring they are secure, and monitoring access to the premises
Health and Safety: Addressing any health and safety concerns, Fire Alarm Check, Fire Extinguisher Checks, PAT Testing, Emergency Lighting
Event Setup: Preparing areas for school events, including setting up furniture and equipment
Grounds keeping: Maintaining the school grounds, including mowing lawns, weeding, and keeping pathways clearWork Schedule:
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8am - 4pm What We're Looking For:
A proactive individual with a strong attention to detail.
Experience as a Caretaker and working in schools before
A team player who is reliable and has a positive attitude.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to health and safety.
Enhanced DBS is required.
