Vishay Siliconix is seeking a Staff Foundry Yield Engineer to help shape the DNA of technology.
Where You'll Work & Scope
Location: San Jose, California.
As a Staff Foundry Yield Engineer you will drive best‑in‑class yield performance across our MOSFET division foundries in both Discrete and IC products.
Responsibilities
* Drive best‑in‑class yield performance across MOSFET foundries in both Discrete and IC products.
* Develop world‑class benchmarking capability of yield improvement, including enablement of a yield dashboard for ease of benchmarking.
* Ensure solid transition and ramp post R&D or foundry transfer to high‑volume manufacturing.
* Drive the enablement of reduction in foundry non‑conformances with closure when non‑conformances occur.
* Support yield enhancement and capacity increase activities involving new process or equipment qualification.
* Support audit activities within the foundry, including internal and customer audit, when necessary.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering.
* Minimum 10 years related experience in semiconductor process engineering, preferably in a world‑class semiconductor fab or foundry.
* Experience in process integration for both Discrete and IC based MOSFET (preferred).
* Experience in working with R&D and foundry operations.
* Experience in managing SPC, control plan and FMEA.
* Experience in collaboration with international teams and communication (spoken and written) in English.
* Fundamental knowledge in semiconductor device and wafer processing.
* Fundamental knowledge in statistical data analysis and control methods.
