Internal Sales Executive / Telemarketing Business Development Manager
Lichfield, Staffordshire – located a few miles outside of Lichfield City Centre. The role is based on site with plenty of parking; own transport required.
Salary: £28k–£30k basic, dependent on experience. Bonus 10% of sales, making OTE roughly £30k.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
* Friday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Start Date: Immediate or as per availability. Full‑time permanent with 38 hours a week, flexible to 30‑38 hrs for the right candidate (pro‑rata salary).

Job Description
We are looking for driven, conscientious sales professionals eager to learn and grow within the business. The successful candidate will work autonomously across multiple clients, delivering high‑touch sales support and excellent service. Responsibilities include researching potential companies that match our customers' needs, making introductory calls to qualify requirements, booking appointments, and pursuing quotation opportunities.
Managing the follow‑up process is essential. You will follow up on meetings and pricing, agree next steps, and support the sales cycle until conversion.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Generation – research companies via Google, LinkedIn and Companies House to capture company name, address, telephone number and decision‑maker names and enter all data into the CRM.
* LinkedIn Prospecting – send connection requests and messages to decision‑makers on behalf of our customers, creating interest in their products/services.
* Telephone and Email Activity – call CRM records to introduce customers, determine requirement, and send follow‑up emails. Complete qualifying questions set by the customer in the CRM.
* Secure appointments or quotation opportunities for prospects, either for the customer to pursue or for us to hold internally.
* Follow‑up to Decision Phase – regularly communicate with prospects to gain feedback on appointments/quotations, handle objections and liaise with our customer for additional information.
