We are looking for a Managing Director to lead execution, delivery, and operational performance across the business, ensuring Novaverse delivers exceptional work today while building the foundations for long‑term scale.
Reporting to the CPO, the Managing Director is the senior executive responsible for execution, delivery, and operational performance across Novaverse’s CG production, real‑time 3D, and software development teams.
You lead end‑to‑end delivery of client work, ensuring projects are executed to the highest creative and technical standards, delivered on time, and within agreed financial targets. You provide operational leadership across production, technical, and software teams, enabling consistent, predictable execution across studios and time zones.
As a key execution leader, you will act as the connective tissue between strategy, clients, execution, translate strategy into action, strengthen delivery discipline, and support Novaverse’s evolution from a services‑led organisation into a scalable, platform‑driven spatial technology company.
Execution and Delivery
* Own the successful execution of projects from initiation through final delivery.
* Ensure all work meets agreed creative, technical, schedule, and budget expectations.
* Establish clear production plans, milestones, and accountability across teams.
* Proactively identify, manage, and resolve delivery risks.
Production and Team Leadership
* Lead teams across CG, real‑time 3D, game engines, and software development.
* Build high‑performing production structures capable of delivering complex, real‑time, and interactive work.
* Set and uphold clear standards for quality, craft, and technical excellence.
* Develop and mentor senior production and technical leaders.
Financial and Resource Control
* Manage delivery‑side financial performance, including budgets, burn, utilisation, and margins.
* Translate scopes into realistic staffing and delivery plans.
* Ensure efficient use of resources without compromising quality or timelines.
* Partner closely with Finance on forecasting and capacity planning.
Operational Systems and Scale
* Design and evolve scalable production pipelines and workflows.
* Implement tools, processes, and standards that support repeatable, predictable execution.
* Ensure consistency and reliability of delivery across London, New York, and Barcelona.
* Drive operational maturity as Novaverse scales.
Quality and Client Outcomes
* Ensure delivery quality consistently meets or exceeds client expectations.
* Maintain a high bar for craft, technical integrity, and polish.
* Support critical delivery moments, reviews, and milestones.
* Translate client and internal feedback into continuous improvement across teams.
Leadership and Culture
* Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and execution excellence.
* Ensure teams operate with clarity, realistic timelines, and sustainable workloads.
* Champion professional growth and operational discipline.
* Act as the internal reference point for how work is executed at Novaverse.
