Credit Controller/Sales Admin - High Wycombe
This role involves dual responsibilities in Credit Control and supporting the Sales team with administration.
Hours: 8am - 5pm
Salary: £30,000 - £37,000
Responsibilities:
Credit Controller:
* Maintain a section of the sales ledger as designated by the Branch Manager
* Set up new cash customer accounts
* Post receipts received in the bank daily
* Manage daily debtors list: chase overdue monies, send copy invoices, review stop lists
* Handle statement queries
* Review accounts trading over credit limits and improve processes to reduce order release volumes
* Review customer credit limits with credit agencies
* Notify branches of accounts trading over credit limits and take appropriate action
* Manage petty cash
* Prepare banking cash and cheques
* Reconcile end-of-day banking for depots
Sales Administration:
* Process orders
* Respond to customer queries
Requirements:
* CICM qualification preferred but not essential
* GCSE Grade 6 or equivalent in Maths and English, or Level 3 Admin/Business/Finance qualification
* Experience with Microsoft Office packages essential
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role or industry, familiarity with products
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Experience with Sales Ledger
