Financial Crime PMO ManagerJob Description

Purpose of the role

To support change delivery managers in the delivery of successful projects, while ensuring that project management processes and practices are aligned with controls andernance standards and that projects are aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives.

Accountabilities
1. Support to change delivery managers, ensuring their programme ispliant with the Barclays Control Framework, including oversight of controls andernance standards.
2. Creation and implementation of standardised PMO processes and methodologies that are aligned with controls andernance standards and that support the delivery of successful projects. .
3. Monitoring of project performance, including tracking of project progress, identification of risks assumptions, issues and dependencies, and creation of report on project status to senior management.
4. Support of project documentation, including maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensuring that project documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
5. Facilitation of projecternance, including ensuring that projects are aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives, and that project risks assumptions, issues and dependencies are managed effectively.
6. Provision of change management framework training to project managers and other stakeholders, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver successful projects. .
7. Continuous improvement of project management practices, including identification of areas for improvement and implementation of changes to improve project delivery.

8. To advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with other functions/ business divisions.
9. OR for an individual contributor, they will lead collaborative assignments and guide team members through structured assignments, identify the need for the inclusion of other areas of specialisation toplete assignments. They will identify new directions for assignments and/ or projects, identifying abination of cross functional methodologies or practices to meet required oues.
10. Consult onplex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
11. Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control andernance agenda.
12. Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
13. Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function.
14. Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
15. Engage inplex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams,panies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.
16. Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve oues.

Join the Integrated Financial Crime (IFC) Portfolio as a PMO Manager, where you'll be responsible for ensuring high standards ofernance, traceability, and programme control are consistently applied across the portfolio. IFC is a group-wide portfolio that spans all Business Units and is the Banks' strategic solution to tackling financial crime.

To be successful as an IFC Senior PMO Manager, you should have:
17. Extensive experience in PMO roles, including experience in a similar portfolio to Integrated Financial Crime
18. Portfolioernance & reporting experience including oversight and adherence to PMO Controls
19. Strong understanding of traceability and auditability requirements, particularly in programmes with regulatory scrutiny

Some other highly valued skills may include:
20. Strongmunication skills with an ability to provide guidance and support to Programme Managers
21. Clear appreciation for clearly defining milestones, measures of success and otherponents critical to the development of a business case
22. Excellent stakeholder skills, fostering strong relationships
23. Experience in Internal Audit orpliance Assurance functions would be advantageous

You may be assessed on critical skills relevant to success in this role, including risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology expertise, alongside job-specific technical skills.
