Overview

Kennedys is recruiting an NQ+ Associate to join our specialist Policy & Coverage team in Edinburgh. This is a standout opportunity for a lawyer interested in insurance policy analysis and complex coverage disputes.


The Role

Your Work Will Include

* Advising insurers on policy coverage and indemnity issues
* Drafting detailed coverage opinions across multiple lines of business
* Acting in declaratory proceedings and coverage litigation
* Supporting claims teams on strategic and commercial decision-making
* Working closely with leading coverage specialists and exposure to UK-wide and international matters


About You

* Qualified Solicitor
* Background in insurance, commercial litigation or disputes
* Strong written skills and an interest in policy wording and interpretation
* Commercial, pragmatic and client-focused approach
