Care Coordinator | Drivers Only

25 hours over 3.5 days

Job Description:

Flexicare At Home are looking for 2 compassionate and flexible Care Coordinators, who can work closely as a team on a job share basis.

Care Coordinator A: Sun, Mon, Tues 7am to 2:30pm, Wed 7am to 11am (25 hours).

Care Coordinator B: Wed 10am to 2:30pm, Thurs, Fri, Sat 7am to 2:30pm (25 hours).

(extra hours can be available working in the community).

As a Care Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality, person-centred care through effective rostering, staff coordination, and client relationship management and work closely with the care management team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Effectively manage and maintain staff rotas, ensuring continuity of care, sufficient travel time, and compliance with commissioned call times.
* Allocate care workers based on skills, client preferences, and location to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
* Support the Deputy Registered Manager in service delivery, business development, and day-to-day branch operations.
* Support HR functions.
* Organise and participate in team meetings, staff supervisions, and appraisals.
* Take a share of on-call duties, alongside all other office-based staff.

Essential Skills & Experience:

* Strong organisational and time management skills, including experience with rota/scheduling systems (Access PeoplePlanner would be an advantage, but not a necessity).
* Excellent verbal and written communication and IT proficiency (Excel, Word).
* Proven customer service background and attention to detail under pressure.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Previous experience in the care industry and/or NVQ Level 2 or higher in Health and Social Care is desirable.

Key Requirements:

* Full UK driving licence
* Own vehicle & Business insurance
* Caring and empathetic personality
* Eligibility to work in UK (no sponsorship/visa support available)

* Contact rate of £13.85 per hour (Including the £0.50 Bonus)
* Performance related bonus - Paid monthly (£0.50 per contact hour)
