What does this team do?Finance Transformation (FT) is a set of offerings within the Technology and Transformation team, that assist finance executives with assessing their finance strategy. We help to design and implement change to their finance organisation, process and systems to improve the overall value of finance.In Controls Advisory, we assist organisations in understanding the risks associated with their processes, which includes their manual processes, IT and assurance. This includes designing control frameworks, which means creating the overall system for managing risk and compliance and updating how controls are managed to increase effectiveness. We also use tech to help automate control processes, ensuring things can be done quickly and accurately.What skills and academic qualifications do I need?Youneed to have obtained or be studying towards a minimum 2:1 in any degree discipline and have graduated by September 2026 for the Autumn 2026 intake.What kind of work will I do?This role will provide you with opportunities to work with different teams to develop your knowledge of risk, controls and technology, so that you can implement tech controls for clients. This includes learning about emerging technology such as AI and then applying this to drive improvements throughout the control lifecycle from assess risks to implementing, monitor and assessing controls. This includes but is not limited to:Identify and assess clients' key IT risks, developing and implementing long-term strategies for mitigation and improvementDesign and embed IT controls to ensure adherence to relevant internal policies, legislation, and regulatory requirementsUse data and technology to address IT aspects of their critical challenges, including climate change, cyber-attacks, data privacy, and organisational transformationProvide expert guidance and support to build and strengthen clients' IT governance and control frameworks, fostering innovation and confident change managementDeliver impactful change initiatives that enable organisations to effectively manage their IT risksWork at the forefront of strategy and control requirements for internal, regulatory and extended enterprise requirements, focusing on cutting-edge technologies such as AI and blockchainWhere will I work?At Deloitte we recognise how important face-to-face interaction is for your development in a new role.
