Your responsibilities
As an Environmental Undergraduate at Uniper, you'll have the opportunity to:
* Stay updated on recent developments in UK environmental legislation and assist in summarising and communicating these changes to stakeholders.
* Contribute to our carbon accounting process, supporting our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint.
* Assist in ensuring compliance with various requirements related to our environmental permits.
* Participate in identifying lessons from environmental incidents and assist in conducting internal environmental audits.
* Support the environmental management system to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement, enhancing our overall environmental performance.
* Support new low carbon projects in their efforts to obtain environmental permits, playing a crucial role in expanding our sustainable energy initiatives.
* Assist in the preparation and execution of environmental sustainability reports, helping to showcase our commitment to sustainable practices.
Your profile
* Currently studying a physical or environmental science degree program.
* A strong desire to gain exposure to environmental legislation and standards relevant to industry and permitted sites.
* Good interpersonal skills with an eagerness to learn and adapt to working across various functions.
* Basic knowledge of environmental management systems and audit management.
