What You Will Do
* Lead the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes to ensure exceptional quality in production.
* Develop, implement, and maintain robust process controls to enhance product consistency and reduce waste.
* Monitor and analyse manufacturing data, driving quality improvements and proposing innovative solutions.
* Resolve customer quality concerns with thorough root cause analysis and corrective actions using tools like 8D and DMAIC.
* Support the introduction of new products and processes, ensuring compliance with documented procedures.
* Manage supplier quality issues and maintain effective communication to achieve quality objectives.
What You Will Bring
* Proven experience in Quality and Process Engineering within an AS9100 Rev D or ISO9001 manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of quality methodologies such as APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and SPC.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
* Familiarity with process engineering tools like Time-study, Value Stream Mapping, and Control Plans.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
