About You :
* A graduate with a 2:1 degree or above
* Degrees in Education, Psychology, Child Development, English, Maths, or related fields are desirable
* Strong spoken English skills are essential to effectively support pupils, particularly in a school with a high proportion of learners with English as an Additional Language (EAL)
* A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for education, Early Years development & inclusive practice
* Experience with EYFS and/or SEND (highly desirable)
* Are an aspiring teacher, educational psychologist, or SEN specialist
* Must have the right to work in the UK
The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both academic progress and pupil wellbeing across a range of age groups, responsibilities will include :
* Supporting pupils with early language development, phonics, literacy, and numeracy
* Working with small groups and delivering 1:1 interventions
* Supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
* Assisting within Early Years settings, helping to deliver play-based and structured learning
* Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and communication needs
* Helping to maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
