Service Transition Manager - 12 month FTC, Telford
This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in your local office at least 2 days a week with occasional travel to client sites.

Role Overview
Joining us as a Service Transition Manager on a 12-month FTC, you will lead service transition activities, collaborating with business owners, project managers, design and operations teams, as well as partners and suppliers, to ensure seamless implementation of new services. Your responsibilities include establishing and documenting Service Management procedures, with a focus on measurable performance and continuous improvement post-launch.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop support structures for new services, including Processes, SLAs, and KPIs.
2. Ensure effective Transfer to Operations, maintaining high standards for operational support materials.
3. Document services aligned with ITIL best practices, including lifecycle resourcing, training, tooling, support, and documentation with formal sign-off.
4. Represent Operations in project meetings to implement service acceptance criteria and align third-party contracts.
5. Define and deliver the end-to-end support model with Service Design and stakeholders.
6. Identify and manage Operations risks, and participate in stakeholder groups to improve delivery efficiency and processes.
Candidate Profile
Process-driven with a focus on procedures and workflow optimisation. You should have:
* A methodical, organised approach, with excellent planning, prioritising, and attention to detail skills.
* Strong analytical abilities to evaluate complex information, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
* Proven experience managing successful transition or transformation projects, driving change, and implementing new processes.
* In-depth knowledge of telecom field operations, with experience supporting or working alongside field teams.
* The ability to represent Operations in project meetings, ensuring a seamless transition to support.
