RECYCLING SITE REQUIRES A HANDS-ON YARD OPERATIVE TO WORK IN A PREDOMINANTLY OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT ROLE: Yard Operative - Metals recycling SALARY: £24K LOCATION: Atherton HOURS: Mon to Fri: 08:00 to 16:00 PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Metal Recycling Yard Operative, Skip Hire Waste Operative You may have experience in Waste Management, Metal Recycling, Skip Hire, Construction, Demolition, Scrap Metal, Quarries, or Aggregates ROLE: Yard Operative - Metals recycling Your role will be hands-on, focusing on the removal of attachments from metals and the efficient processing of scrap metals. You'll be expected to carry out all tasks in line with site safety procedures, company policies, and health and safety standards. Keeping the work area clean and well-organised will be part of your daily routine. You'll also be an integral part of a small, supportive team working together to maintain smooth and effective operations. EXPERIENCE: Yard Operative - Metals recycling You will have experience working outdoors in all weather conditions, ideally within a physically demanding environment such as waste management, industrial services, or agriculture. Any previous hands-on exposure to the metals industry would be highly advantageous.
